......some of you may have read in one of my previous posts that I didn't really care much for the stock plastic backhoe lever knobs on the 2310. They have kind of a sharp edge and they feel kind of small to me.
So, I fixed that problem today; The factory knobs just slip on/off. I measured the diameter of the shaft at just under 12mm. In searching around ebay last week, I found some billet aluminum car shift knobs with 12x1.75mm threads, which came in today. I picked up a thread die at NAPA and threaded the shafts, cleaned them with brake cleaner, put on a good coat of anti-seize and screwed on the new knobs. Then, of course, I had to go try them out and they feel MUCH better and considerably more comfortable. Not to mention they add some nice "Bling" to the tractor.
