We are not done yet but we are getting closer. We and I use the term loosely a friend of mine who teaches plumping and heating from PA came up this weekend and we got the boiler installed. He did the most of the work I went for this and that, I also sanded and fluxed for all the
the soldering and laying out the design for everything (the primary loop and the secondary loop consists of four zones). Three in use right now and then one that we run water temp much higher then
the tubing and eventually do hot air maybe that is next and I do not need to think about that now.
I will post pictures tonight on my web site
after 9:00pm EST
http://www.stonewallboarding.com/const.html it is quicker then loading them to tractor by net.
We installed a Condensing Boiler Prestige solo 175 wall unit. This thing is so small it hang on the wall like a small ref. And yet it is rated to heat 5520 sq feet.
Prestige
IT was very expensive but more then likely pay for it self in 4 years. I got somebody coming this week and do install on Propane tank and then once I own tank I get my propane for $1.77 a gallon I just do not see it being any cheaper Then that. The new boiler is 93% efficient. When we add the antifreeze (non toxic of course) it took about 37 ½ gallons
We cut with 30 % water so it will not freeze but may get slushy. It took a long time to get the air out of the lines and I am sure we are not done yet. We did not get the boiler vented yet, but have a vent kit for that (PVC).
Still need to get the insulation in the ceiling. That will be a two day job. R44 in 5520 sq feet is a lot to blow in.
As I said I will update pictures on the web tonight.
