You have a nice YM147D tractor. How much can it lift with that loader? Your tractor looks amazing for its age.

Thanks for the compliments guys. You know I'm not quite sure what it can lift pound wise. I know it can lift a full bucket of #2 stone. Now that's only a 42" wide bucket too. It can lift more than it should!

I also have a 147D and am wondering what type of suspension seat you chose and if you encountered any difficulties with raising implements and hitting the rear of the seat after you installed your seat. Thanks.

Yea this could almost be a write up by itself. I used the "K & M's Low-Profile Mechanical Seat Suspension " from Northern tool. I had previously changed the seat so I reused that. "Just" put it on top of the suspension. Took a little thought as to make a frame work to mount everything. Seat has an adjustable slider for back forth. And yes it will hit the 3 point lift arms . Someone 6 foot and taller would have problems getting leg room. The suspension works surprisely well. Much better than the original springs.

Oh man I like this! Then I saw $150 plus shipping. Plus some kind of slider. Plus the original front-hinge Yanmar seat likely won't match up to it. Maybe someday.

Does anyone have advice how to stop the side to side wobble of the original Yanmar seat front hinge? Setting up the YM186D I bought a new hinge cross-pin from Hoye thinking it would be larger diameter to make a snug fit in the brackets on the seat and in the hinge sleeve on the tractor. Nope, no improvement. Has anyone made a simple improvement? I doubt I could find a just-right diameter rod. Maybe weld tight washers to the ends of the hinge sleeve????

Yea my old seat had the pin and cross tube. Also flipped up. Just didn't ride well. My new one don't flip up . Also with Northern if you Google promo codes you get yourself some good savings. Got 20 bucks off on this.
