Got tired of the 1526 spitting black krap on startup all over my front blade .. Procured me a stainless 1-1/2" O.D. weld elbow, drilled thru/installed a 10-32 stainless bolt, and now have stainless exhaust tip deflectors on two of my Mahindri... LIFE IS GOOD...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Think you'll get exhaust towards you now?

Think you'll get exhaust towards you now?

It now points sideways just in front of the left front tire. My 5035 points up behind the right front, and I don't seem to get any fumies there, and that tractor really snorts when you travel up hill at speed. 2555 has a cab, but that used to point right at where my previously yellow fuel cans were, and they got blasted. Fixed that with a tip, too. As far as diesel fumes, if it is running, and you are going in a direction that the wind blows it towards you...... there is absolutely no direction you can point it where there will be no fumes 100% of the time. Part of owning/running a diesel.

I致e cut my exhaust off at the bend and pointed it down and inward. Basically the exhaust is blowing under the tractor to wards the right front wheel. I very rarely get any whiff of exhaust smoke now. However that doesn’t work on yours, because you have something on a subframe on the front. I also modified the battery holder bracket to fit a Group 34 AGM battery.
