Mowing Pinning up a mower deck on a B7610?

My sales's manager's son just bought a B7610, FEL, MMM and BB. (19 hours of seat time his first weekend)

He cannot find a way to "pin up" or somehow lock the MMM in the highest position while he is using the box blade. I can't imagine there is not some way to lock the deck up, and of course, being a Tim Taylor type of a guy, he won't look at the manual.

How do you keep the MMM up while the 3pt is being used?

I have a 7610 and recently wanted to do the same thing to increase ground clearance when I was too lazy to remove the mower. I also didn't bother to look at the manual!

Towards the front of the mower, there are locations on each side of the mower where pins can be inserted. You need to raise the deck to the highest position and push it up the additional 1/4" yourself. Unfortunately, Kubota didn't provide the pins! I called my dealer who offered to order the pins for me. I'd be interested in hearing if the pins were provided at no charge on other 7610s.

B7500 with a 60" MMM. Dealer provided pins to pin it up and there were two spares pin'd to the deck near the centre rear wheels. Nothing fancy, just a couple of 1/2" pins with presto clips.

Now if they could proivide pins that are easy to install and put clips in when you have a FEL that would be great. going to try modifying a couple of 1/2" hitch pins.
