Pinterest and Pallets

OK, so how do you get those nice boards separated from the pallet?? I tried, and they were attached with 3 1/2" Spiral nails which were impossible to pull.

You can grind the heads of the nails off, this will allow you to pull the board off.

That was a pretty minor vent

I'm sure you can do better then that :thumbsup: Wife and daughter got on a pallet faze much to my son in law and my dismay. Wife said you can make them into a fence :confused2: I took her for a little ride and showed her a home where they did just that. It was the butt ugliest thing you ever saw.

Then pointed out to my wife that there is no way in bloody BEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEP BEEP that you are ever gonna talk me into doing something like that. The neighbors would form a lynch mob and come after us. Daughter started having her husband build furniture out them. Made a coffee table, and some chairs. Never invested in a sander to smooth them out. Hey liked the rustic look. After a few infected splinters in the back of there legs and booty, they finally saw the light :laughing:

Now a coworker got some real fancy wood from South America out of some and made some really nice pieces. But man, you really gotta know what your looking for and they need to be built old school in a third world country or your never gonna get them apart.
