Grapple Pirahna vs. Anbo Grapple

twabscs, course I don't know what it will end up at but I found this new Pirahna Grapple at eBay within 2 minutes of my 1st search. There may indeed be more since this looks like a dealer to me. grapple

Wow, I hadn't checked in a few days. The seller is in fact the manufacturer (Pirahna) there in NC. The pictures are better than they provided on their website, they have both 66" and 72" grapples for sale, and the current bids are less than the prices I was quoted. It looks like I can work the bids and probably save some dollars on my purchase. I searched a couple of days ago for "grapple" and didn't see these.

I see that a 72" grapple sold for $1299.00 just a couple of weeks ago. My price above included the $200.00 shipping charge, so that is a discount of $350.00. Looks like I'll be buying my grapple through ebay. Now all of you please wait until I get mine before you start bidding! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There isn't much that you can't find there if you are persistent enough to keep looking.

Here's an update. After researching the prices on Ebay, I called Pirahna this morning to see if I could get a better price. After some jawing I got them to knock $100 off. I really couldn't wait for an auction as I would like the dealer to plumb everything and ensure everything works before he delivers my new JX85 next week. (I'm going to handle the plumbing for the TC40D myself.)

Anyway, the grapple will be shipped direct to my dealer today and it only takes 2-3 days. Final price for the 72" root grapple shipped to NW Missouri is right at $1750.00.

I'll report back with pictures sometime next week.
