I waned to purchase a tooth bar from Xpanded but they need the inside dimension of the bucket and they need to know if there are any bolts in the corners of the bucket where the tooth bar installs. It looks smooth to me. I haven't taken possession of the tractor yet so I can't measure it myself and wanted to ship it so it comes the same time as my tractor. Also, doe the 3 point hitch stay on the tractor while the backhoe is on or does it come off and then the backhoe goes on. Thanks

Try to be a bit patient: Wait until you get the tractor to measure for the tooth bar.

The 3pt hitch assembly will almost certainly need to be removed, though I am not familiar with your specific tractor.

Yes, wait. Too high a probabiliy of a surprise when Loader bucket arrives with the tractor.

I believe the MT125s were designed to remove the lift arms when the backhoe is on, but I remember at least one person here saying that he leaves his on, but they had to be in the highest position to get the backhoe on.
As far as the bucket, do your self a favor and wait to measure it. Another guy here ordered one while he was waiting for his tractor, and the tractor came with a bigger bucket. He couldn’t return the Piranha tooth bar and had to order a second one.

I just measured my bucket. The dimensions are:

OS TO OS of cutting edge (across the bottom) is 51-3/8"
OS TO OS of bucket (including the reinforcement) is 51"
IS TO IS of the bucket sides is 49-3/4"

There were two designs of the MT125 3 point hitch. The first was on the 2017 models. This design required the removal of a rear tire in order to remove / install the 3 point arms and stabilzers. It was a real PIA !

I had one of those models and after complaining to the dealer, they were able to provide an "update" kit which allows the 3 point arms / assembly to come off in about 3 minutes. All you have to do is remove one bolt, then the assembly comes right off. Goes back on in about 5 minutes. We have had many discussions on this forum (thread), just do a search. I had posted all of the LS part numbers for the kit.

I can't say for sure, but the newer models should have this new mounting system. I do know that the NH Workmaster 25s has the newer version. Another member here (mslisaj) was able to purchase just one of the components in the kit and use the rest of the original hardware to "make" the new version.

Another member (Diggin it) leaves the arms on his MT when the backhoe is one. I believe he just bungees them up out of the way.

When you get the tractor, we'll help answer any questions you might have. Make sure you post some pics!
The anticipation must be hard for sure....I still remember the wait!

Thanks. I appreciate all the great advice and help. I guess I will wait to order the tooth bar and the Thumb. It's pretty exciting. I have so many projects. Even just taking the garbage to the road will be nice since the driveway it 300ft and they don't make good wheels for garbage cans. I have snow removal, tiling, landscaping, etc. Funny thing is that I still will pay someone to cut my lawn. He is so reasonable it's not worth it.

Thanks for taking the time to send out measurements. I mentioned the whole three point hitch nightmare to my dealer and he assured me that I was getting an updated model so that is great. Going with the BXpanded Thumb. Also, can wait to try back dragging my gravel driveway with the tooth bar.
