PITB getting PT video

I've asked PT three times now over the last month or so to send their brochure(s) and video and still haven't gotten one. On the second request they did send a price list but I can get that easily on the web.

The folks down there are very pleasant on the phone and are apologetic about delays but it sure is starting to get frustrating. Has anyone else had trouble getting parts, etc., promptly or am I just a bit unlucky so far?

Fortunately, the trouble is only with the etc. Whenever I have needed a part, it has been shipped immediately, and often arrived the day after my call. I haven't needed anything big, but my last order, an adapter plate, was in my garage by UPS 30 hours after I faxed the order.
The videos have always been a bit of a problem, Call down there and ask for Kristie. It may be they don't have any in stock, but haven't managed to tell you. Better yet, drive down to Tazewell, walk in and pound on the nearest desk. Then test drive a whole bunch of machines.
You're three hours closer to Tazewell than I am. About a year ago, Bubenberg and I left here at 0 dark hundred, made a couple of wrong turns, tested some machines and saw some in development and testing, bought a post pounder, and were back at my house by midnight. Long day, but great fun. You'll like the PT people. (Don't take a credit card on your first trip - you'll likely melt it.) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I too had been waiting for my video. Eventually, I sent them an e-mail and got it in a week.

I went thru the same irritating process, finally recieved the video but it was a disapointment. This site contains way more information.

I agree with pah, the video isn't all that great. Better video on MossRoads site, albeit only one model. If I were as close to Tazwell as you, I'd already have been there twice since discovering the PTs last fall. And I'd be planning another trip soon as spring is here already (a forcast of 80 or better by Thursday) and time for some serious PT projects.
