Pivot pins

Ford 4500 Just noticed the loader attachment pivot pins. Two lowers are not grease able and one upper was replaced with a piece of pipe would like to replace all four .Nowhere to be found any help would be appreciated. 1 1/4” x 6 1/2 ” greaseable if possible. TIA

If you don't have the capability you may have to get someone to make them for you.

All pivot pins (fulcrums) need to be solid steel, not pipe and all should be cross drilled to accept grease fittings, no exceptions.

Not really. Any good machine shop should be able to make them for you as they are a pretty straight forward piece. Order the bushings, 291548 before you have them made to give the machinist the ID dimensions of the bosses being made.

Alternately, you could call a salvage yard and see if they would have or take off the bosses on a junk loader.

The issue with that is, most likely any take off boss will be oval. better buying new or making them up.

You just might find them premade if you do a search. I was able to for my Volvo excavator. The size seems reasonable common. Or if you have the ability to drill the shaft as needed see how tight a grade eight bolt would be. Of course you will not have the threads in the bearing area.
