Place to order custom valve assemblies?

Anybody know where I can check prices and maybe order a custom Parker valve assembly? I've dug through the catalog and have the part number built, now I need to figure out how much it'll cost. I've used a local Parker store for my hoses and such. They're good at what they do, but they're rather expensive. Tried e-mailing Surplus Center, but they never responded.

I had a typo, it's actually a Prince valve. Called Parker and they recommended against their product because they would too expensive. Said he spends a lot of time to price their product out and they never win the job. I already knew that, they are expensive.

I recommend you try Your Source for Fluid Power Sun Source

I checked all over the country trying to get a custom valve ordered for my new laser system what a pita.

This company had good pricing and helped me resolve the ordering issues and red tape. I ordered a new two spool Danfoss PVG 32 proportional valve with solenoids for voltage control pvem style and correctly configured spool flow control. Topcon was over $4000 for this but Sun Source was $1700 for the same thing.

edit to add I got busy and came back to see the change to prince valves. That should be way less money than a custom Parker or Danfoss.

Somewhat related... As far as individual hydraulic system parts are concerned (simple valves, fittings, adapters, et cetera), can anyone comment about ordering from e-bay? You find a lot of what seems to be New-Old-Stock parts there, including even the expensive Parker parts for what seem to be reasonable prices.

I understand you have to be somewhat careful there, but it seems you can find some good deals.
