Placing the little BX1500 on stands

If you have a bucket on the front, curl it to get the front tires off the ground. Then shut the engine off and jack up the back with one floor jack under the rear housing. Secure the back with stands.

The front is easy, just place stands under the axle. The rear is tough because there isn't much room to put axle stands, the tires are kind of in the way.

On the BX the rear hitch plate is bolted to the whole transaxle asssembly and is also what the lower 3 point arms bolt to. Would not jack directly against the transaxle housing though.

Why not ...? 1) Find a good source for the tires, price and distance considered (tire dealers are often a good source, can order what ever it is, no need to be a Kubota dealer.) 2) Once the tires are "in" at the tire source, use a small utility trailer and haul the BX1500 to the tire shop. Off load it and the rest is the tire dealer's problem.Make an appointment and they will do it while you wait if distance is the issue. Even if you have to go borrow a small trailer this seems to me to beat all these other heroics.

Make a Kuboguson or Fergota version of this.

Orphaned I guess because they don't seem to be available whole goods anymore. They ordered me the Trackmaster Ag tires. I put the front end of the frame on stands (FEL on the ground). I then lifted the back from under the draw plate (good thing I have a 3 ton low profile jack!) Once I got the wheels off I put stands under the axels. I called Kubota and they told me to go ahead and put it up on the axels. It seems very steady this way. Now I just wait to see if the front tires show up tomorrow. The rears are in.

I used two small floor jacks on the frame in front of the rear wheels for extra insurance when I removed them.
