plans for bucket for FEL

I just bought a tractor (David-Brown 996) and the bucket for the FEL is rusted thru in a couple places. I would like to weld up a new bucket, does any one have any plans? I'm also thinking about making it a quick change, any thoughts?

No plans here for the bucket itself, but for the quick attach itself go to this link:

Look under plans modifications. Someone there has posted a drawing of a quick-attach for both the bucket and the tractor.

My bucket is the same way (rusted and small) I'm looking for some plans. If you find any let me know... till then I think I'm going to try and build a template and then draft it up on AutoCAD. If I get to this in the next month or so I'll let you know!!!

I had a 30 hp tractor with an Allied brand loader. It was made around 1959 and the used 3/16" steel for the entire bucket except for the culling edge. It seemed to have held up great over the years.

Can you just get some 3/16 plate and repair/replace the sections of your existing bucket that are rusted out? Might be a lot easier and cheaper than fabbing a whole new bucket and attachment setup.
