I've always heard the old timers refer to rows as hills, or "planting on a hill". Well this year for my little garden, I upped the ante! I planted my "hills", literally ON A HILL. It's about 2' above , and about 4' away from the water level of the bayou that I live on, in hope that the ground will stay somewhat moist.
