Plastic HST fan blade replacement BX2350

Sent the BX 2350 to shop last week to get the fan blade replaced. nothing but the hub was left... searched this site and many found out the insurance would pay for it ..minus the deductiable... should have it out of the shop by tomorrow...

cost for repairs.. $ 1751.

deduct $ 250

Glad you had the insurance, but man, that's quite the repair bill for replacing a $10 fan. Most quotes I've seen were closer to $500-$600. Either way, it's an expensive repair to replace a plastic part. I bought a skid plate so I hope not to need the KTAC insurance for a broken HST fan - I'm saving it for something really big. :laughing:

i guess thats the cost associatedwith living in the Big city. ( houston) higher everything

What ! $1750 .............. that's a rip-off. I wonder what the insurance
will have to say. They have their limits to being scammed.
