I decided to order a 48" Phoenix rototiller after checking around in my local area and not finding the features I wanted or finding them, but at a price that I was not willing to pay. I've watched just about every video by Ted and felt that they had what I wanted at a reasonable price. I felt that this is an expanding company, with excellent service with an unbelievable product selection, and the really big convincer for me was that they are putting a tremendous effort forward seeking our business. I like that! A lot!

So, a couple of weeks ago, once I decided I was probably going to order from them, I went online, created an Everything Attachments account and registered with my shipping and billing info. It was easy.

Today (Tuesday 3/19/2013 between 7 & 8 PM) I decided to put in the order for the tiller. I had the 48" Phoenix tiller on my wish list, so I opened my account, went to my wish list and clicked on "more info" to bring up the product description. I then simply added it to my cart and began checkout. Since I already put my info into my account I just had to select it and put in my 3 digit code for the credit card. I also had to put that I wanted "terminal shipping" into the additional comments section as this is not one of the delivery options on the order form. I found this info in the "Knowledge Base" which is in the yellow listing on the left side bottom of the ETA home page.->Shipping Questions-> shipping options. One thing I forgot to do was mention that I preferred the orange color to match my BX25. This particular item is available in red or orange. I sent an email to the sales department requesting orange color an hour after I ordered, I hope it's not too late. There was no color choice option that I noticed on the order form but it is mentioned in the product description. I just forgot to put it in the "additional comments" area on the order form because I wanted to make sure that I got the "terminal shipping" comment in there. I should have written all of that stuff down before ordering. Having that info being on the form would have been even better. I bet that they ask these questions if you call in your order, so that's another option for you. It's no big deal if it turns out red, it will still till the same.

I checked my email a little while later and had received a confirmation of my order.

It's the next morning, Wednesday (20th) about 9:15 AM and I have received an email informing me that my tiller is scheduled to be shipped today. I was supplied with a tracking number, the name of the freight company, and the web address where I could track the shipment. Pretty impressive so far!

I checked the tracking number (2PM) on the shipper web site and it is not yet scanned into the system.

4:07 PM This is the message that I got when I checked the tracking number again.

"Your shipment has been picked up and is en route. When we finish processing your shipment documentation, we will provide complete shipment details within 24 hours."

It's on it's way in less than 20 hours!

9:00 AM, 3/21/2013 Went online this morning, checked my tracking number and the information was there. It stated that the tiller was already in Harrisburg, PA., I live just outside of Pittsburgh. The estimated delivery date is tomorrow, 3/22/2013 to a shipping terminal about 15 minutes away from my house if traffic is not bad. The shipping Co. added an extra number to the PRO (tracking) number which I typed into the appropriate "shipping docs" space on their tracking web page where I got and printed a copy of the Bill of lading. It had all of the shipping information and the address of the receiving terminal. Shipping weight was 435 lbs.

Now, since I no longer have a truck :-( I have to rent one to pick up the tiller. I don't know exactly what time or if they will notify me that it is available for pick-up, so it depends on how fast I can rent the truck after I've been called by the terminal. The first place I called (local company) had no pick-up trucks available for the weekend which apparently starts on Friday. I'll try a national company once I know I can pick up the tiller.

4:22 PM 3/21/2013 Tracking indicates that the trailer carrying my rototiller is on it's way to Pittsburgh from Harrisburg, PA.

11:17 PM 3/21/2013 This is the last check before I hit the sack for the night. Tracking indicates that the tiller has arrived in Pittsburgh. Now all I have to do is wait for the call tomorrow letting me know that the shipment is ready for pick up and see if I can rent a truck for a few hours, and go get it. I really miss my truck! Maybe I should buy a trailer, but storage then becomes a problem. I know! Next time, I' ll just order from ETA either earlier in the week, or at the end of a week so renting a truck doesn't involve weekend demand for a rental truck. If I can't rent a suitable truck tomorrow, I may have to wait till Monday to pick up the tiller. That would suck, but the weather is really pretty bad, so it really wouldn't matter much in the long run. I think I'll have some Wild Turkey 101 on ice and call it a night!

10:30 AM 3/22/2013 No phone call from the terminal but I understand that they don't necessarily call. So, I found that my local U-Haul has a pick-up available so I reserved it for noon. I did it all online so it should be just about ready to go when I get there. I'm hoping that the tiller is ready for pick-up at the terminal or I may have wasted a truck rental and will have to do it all over again.

3:30 PM 3/22/2013 I picked up the truck at noon and went to Home Depot to get a few PT 4 X 4's and a couple of 2 X 8's. I also stopped at a local nursery to buy 2 bales of straw while I had the truck. I'll leave the straw in the front of the truck bed as a cushion for the tiller. I arrived at the terminal at 1:55PM and the guy said that the forklift driver comes in at 2! Whew! I was lucky today. At 2:05 he loaded the tiller into the truck. It was banded on a pallet and wrapped very heavily in several kinds of plastic. ( see pictures below)

Everything with this purchase from Everything Attachments went very well. I will have absolutely no reservations about ordering from them again. The worst part of the whole process was getting the tiller off of the truck. I need a better system for that next time. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to unwrap. It will be a little warmer and partly sunny.

Oh, and by the way, the tiller color is orange.

You did better than I did.

I ordered something on E-Bay, from a reputable seller on 3/9/13, received it on 3/18/13. First was a bad batch.............didn't ship til 3/15/13. Product disappeared in Warrendale, Pa. for 2 days, then an empty package was sent back to seller.

Product was reshipped on 3/15/13, arrived at my houise on 3/18/13

Glad to hear that your shipment arrived as scheduled.

Well, I set up the tiller today and hooked it up to my HF quick hitch. My measurements were terrible so I had to adjust the lower link spacing twice to get it perfect! I did not have to cut the PTO shaft at all as I had 3" of clearance thanks to the quick hitch. I used it today to till a new garden that I went over lightly last Fall with a 1976 6hp Troy-Bilt horse just to cut through the sod. It ran very quiet and I was very happy with the job it did so far. I did not go to max depth because the soil is borderline still wet and I just wanted to play with the new toy----I mean tool.

The tiller seems very well built, everything fits nicely, the welds are beautiful and the paint is a perfect match to my Kubota. It actually looks and feels much more durable and heavy duty than it looks in the photos and videos. Ted's video on this model is dead on accurate and is the next best thing to actually seeing it in person. It also covers the BX25's tracks while Tilling.
