So I finally got a few pictures of my TC30. I really like this little tractor. It was given a workout last week or so and now I have 32 hours on the machine.

The seat is very large and provides a nice amount of comfort while working. This proved to be important, because I developed the bad habbit of staying on it for hours, sometimes until dark.

Operating it is very simple. All of the controls are easily reached. Sometimes, placing in gear can be a little touchy, since the gears are not sychronized, but this is no big problem. It is like every other ag tractor I have ever been on. Once you have selected your gear and range, it proves itself to be quite powerful. I was impressed.

I'm really glad that I had Ag tires put on her. I have some plans for her in the future that might require additional traction. But for now, it girps just fine without loaded tires and even in 2wd. Most all of the work I did was in 2wd.

The gears are numerous, and I found that all of my work was completed in either low or medium, even travel. I'm not sure what high would be used for. Maybe a neighbor would like to race me one day. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Come to think of it, I did race a 4-wheeler. They were surprised. Didn't know that a tractor would go that fast. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

All-n-all, I'm pleased with it. I'm convinced that it will be around for a long time.

Forgot to take pics of mower at work, so here it is as it sat when I picked up. That is the NH951 5 ft rotary cutter on it. It did a fine job on about 18 acres.

Here is the tiller, NH105A, 5ft at work. This thing really chewed up the Bermuda grass. No longer will it laugh as it kicks the harrows out of the ground. With it I cut 2 acres. One I tilled twice, so I guess you should say 3 acres. Paint is still on the teeth. I loved this tool. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

This is what the soil looked like after a second tilling. It was so fluffed that walking on it reminded me of what it must be like to walk on a sponge. Give me a sub-soiler, and I'll retire my other types of plows. What a tool!

Here I'm laying my guiding tracks for the corn patch, maybe an acre total. That is a Covington planter, single row. This company has been around since the turn of the century. The planter is an interesting little machine. The designe has changed little over the last 80 so years. A side-dresser is used with it to place nitrogen to corn at a later date.

I love cell phones. Got a question for the dealer, equipment company, or seed company, not a problem. Just find a shade and place the call. I think I was trying to decide on the best seed metering plate to use for the planter here. Covington quickly answered my questions.

Hmmm.... Second try for the phone. I was dirty and hot, but man is it fun to work in the fields.

Great looking Tractor and stuff. That New Holland tiller looks just like my King Kutter painted blue. I'd sure love to have a planter too, but I can't justify it for the small amount of garden I plant.

All you need is a hat. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
