Sierra, does this use the Kohler Command engine, say 20-27 HP?
If so, start with basics (if not Kohler, a lot still applies):
1. Got spark?
2. Got compression?
- if not, pull rocker box cover(s), may have broken or bent push rod, or a flat cam
3. Got fuel in carb?
- If not and if it has a fuel solenoid at bottom of carb, make sure it is getting voltage and operating OK, should hear a click when turning key on before start position
- check fuel pump operation by removing line to carb at pump, removing impulse hose from crankcase, blow/suck...blow/suck to operate fuel pump (the hose in your mouth should be dry/safe/no gas, only operates the air side of fuel pump diaphragm)
If you have spark, compression, and fuel and it still does not start, you have a puzzler.
