PLEASE HELP- what tractor should I buy for horse farm?

The neighbor's hydraulic operated disc seems to be pretty adjustable as far as depth. I don't have hydraulic outlets on my Yanmar. My disc is really small and I can control how much weight I use. Seems also that the more turned in the discs are, the more aggressive it is. If you leave them straighter it does well on grass covered clay for leveling out the ground. We have been using discs on our pastures/riding areas for years. And if you are an eventer, even the stadium jumping portion of the event is usually on grass. Only the dressage ring is sand.

I sent you a PM newbe2 with places you can look at classified ads in your area to help you find a tractor.

Yeah, I think I need that Farmall!

Truth be told, we never used our tractor in our barn, after we built it.

I used an RTV to haul stuff in and out of it.

The tractor however was used for maintaining the property. Managing the poop, pile and spread, dragging, loading bluestone, and of course cutting and fence work.

I ended up with a 30hp, diesel, 4WD, FEL and 5-6 foot implements for managing two horses and 11 acres. It was a perfect match.
