First off this is a great site and I value all of your input. There seems to be a great vast amount of knowledge here. Thanks for that.
I am buying 6acres with a house, pond, failry long gravel drive, and about 2.5 acres to mow and 2.5 acres of alfalfa that the previous owner had taken care of for him (without payment - farmer just takes it and the owner did not have to mow it). There are some grades around the pond and along the edge - I do not know the grade degrees. Mowing and snow removal are #1 priority. Looking for mower and loader as implements to purchase with tractor.
Anyway I priced these Grand L30s. Tell me what you think please of the pricing and of the size recomendation.
Dealer A:
Tractors only
L3130HST R4s $15,500.00
L3430HST R4s $16,600.00
L3830HST R4s $17,500.00
Loader LA723 with Quick Tatch, Joystick, Square Bucket
$4380.00
Rear 72" Finishing mower Kubota $1900.00
Mid Mount RC72-38 with mid pto $2970. End up saving some money as the R3 Turfs are cheaper.
Dealer B
L3130HST, R4s, 513 loader, RC72-38 MMM - $20,990.00.
This is the smaller loader without the quick tatch or QT bucket.
I may have evne more leverage with dealer B as he has sold my uncle about $45K worth of implements and his grand L tractor - he does not know we are related yet. Downside is Dealer B is 60 miles away from me. Dealer A is four miles away.
Now here is the kicker - It seems you cannot use the Grand L30 tractors with R4s and the MMM RC72-38. Aparently it does not fit within Kubota specs. The local Dealer 1 told me this and showed it to me in the Kubota book the dealer has.
What does everyone think about these prices????
Anyone have R4s and the RC72-38??
Anyone think the MMM is better than a 3pt finishing mower and worth the move to the R3 Turf tires?
Does the 723 Loader package look high???
