Please Identify This Brush Hog/Rotary Cutter

An ad on Craigslist says "Cammond" 4' brush hog.

Anyone know what it is? If so, is it a good one? Tried calling but no answer...

That looks like a good deal to me. I'd offer less (cash) to feel them out. Four footers are harder to sell,most folks want at least 5 or 6 feet, but heck in those safety chains on front and rear and pto shaft w/covers you have at least $300 if you where going to buy separate.Offer -em $650 and check out their reaction. Just my :2cents:

That's pretty obviously a solid unit....as mentioned, just the front and rear chains get expensive on most brands.

4' hogs can be hard to sell, but they are also hard to find used (there have been threads on them) in anything resembling decent condition. I've seen some pretty rough 4' hogs go for $4-500. If it's the right size for you, I'd seriously consider it.

I'll contact the owner tomorrow and go "look at it" this week. I will have my trailer hooked up and extra cash on hand just in case!

I'm needing a 4' cutter for my 23HP sub compact BX2350. I only have 2.5 acres to maintain for a few seasons until we build our new home. Once the house is built, I will work and smooth the ground and plant new grass and mow it with my 60" mid mount mower.
