I didn't want to drill any holes so here is a bracket I made out of a piece of 4"x 12"x 1/2" thick aluminum. I bolted it onto the loader frame, then a .50 cal ammo can be bolted to the bracket. It's rather crude, but it works, I may change it, I dunno. But it holds all the chain I need. -a 20 footer, a 10 footer, and two 5 footers.

take care stepping up to mount the tractor. that over extending sharp corner of toolbox could tear a nice gash on your left leg. i like easy access in both directions as i'm up & down all the time suggest some protection on that corner

M7060, could you post a picture of your toolbox and bracket please Sir? Thank You in advance. I posted a picture of a simple tool bag I place in the right front corner of the cab, works just fine, but I'm still interested in knowing what the proper toolbox bracket, etc. looks like when you have a FEL installed on the tractor.

I stand corrected... mine doesn't open 90 deg., it opens approx. 65 to 70 deg. Same as the pic shown in herkypilots quote on 7/2/19. With that said, I have never had any problem putting tools in / out of it.

Regarding the tool box...

The cold weather cracked my tool box so I made a replacement using 1/8" plate steel. It has the same dimensions as the original tool box but I used a "double hinge" concept on the lid so is has no problems in opening completely for storing or retrieval of tools, etc. It is also has a gasket on the lid so it is completely weather and dust proof. All unpainted surfaces are stainless steel.

Very good guard for the tank. My dealer said he sees a fair amount of punctured tanks and it is an expensive repair, you out to sell that I'd buy one

Thanks. I don’t notice it there. I think it’s more the angle of the picture.
