Good Afternoon,

As we all go about our daily activities today, please take a moment or two and reflect on the lives lost and the sacrifices made twelve years ago on this day. If you should cross paths with a Soldier, Police Officer or Firefighter, take a moment and thank them for putting themselves in harm's way on your behalf. When you are with your family and friends today, take a moment to remember all those who did not return to their family and friends on September 11, 2001. We are all busy, but "never forget" means never forget.

Thanks,

Matt

I called our local Sheriff's Department this morning at 0600 and told the dispatcher that they were doing a Great Job. I also called the nearest Volunteer Fire Department that I respected them for their work. God Bless America and all its Citizens.

Yes, we have many thousands of men and women who serve the cause of freedom and they deserve our appreciation.

As an aside, speaking back to the events of 9/11, it seems we are verbally encouraged to remember but manipulated into forgetting. Why are the videos of planes hitting the buildings, people leaping hundreds of feet from windows and hitting the ground, buildings collapsing, people on the street being smothered by clouds of dust, not being shown. At a minimum, these events need to be replayed (unedited) on every anniversary and on every major news outlet.

Political correctness is our downfall. We can't openly identify our enemies for who and what they are. We can't claim moral superiority over these animals who routinely brutalize people of alternate faiths and behead the innocent on video, without being called bigots. We can't manage to actually issue a Declaration of War against those countries who foster and support these unnamed enemies. We aren't allowed to FINISH any military action that could be construed as a victory.

I just have to shake my head at how lost we have become as a nation, how ignorant we are of history, how government schools dumb-down generations of our young, how precarious our freedom and liberty have become in the hands of fools.

I am reminded of Benjamin Franklin's remark - "A republic madam, if you can keep it." Well, he was looking forward to this day - a day when laziness, greed, class warfare, unenforced borders, feckless and corrupt leadership and social despair have become the norm. My heart aches for what has become of the greatest nation the world has ever known. Even that great and proud history are being destroyed, as textbooks and wingnut professors rewrite our past and paint us as evil imperialists. The several generations of brainwashed youth, now voting, have become a force in blindly moving us toward tyranny.

"We're going to transform America!" Yes ... I'm afraid you have.

God bless those who fight our enemies, foreign and domestic.
