I have a B7800 Kubota and a single plow, that I believe is Massey Ferg.
I replaced the 16 in that it came with down to a 12 incher.
My problem is that the bar that the plow slides on has indent for the bolt to seat and tighten up, it just will not slide for enough to the right to plow out the dirt over to the previously plowed row.

This plow has a lot of adjustments, lever with a handle with diff holes that I believe is for the depth leveling does not seem to be a problem. Any one have an idea or should I go back to the 16?

Don't know if a little B7800 could handle a 1-16 plow even in soft ground.

I have a 21-hp B7510HST. Just finished plowing a landscape area around my new house that will be planted in tall fescue. Used my King Kutter middle buster plow since that's all I had available. Ground is pretty soft from Dec rains.

I would plow one furrow. Then move over just enough so the 7510 would run on level ground next to the furrow and plow another furrow. Then I would plow a third furrow with the 7510 wheels running in the first two furrows. I'll rototill the plowed area in late Feb using my Yanmar RS1200 tiller and plant grass depending on the temperature.

Seemed to work OK for me since I just needed to bust up the soil prior to rototilling. Don't know why you're plowing, but maybe my plowing method would work for you.

Got any pictures of your plow?

I would try it as a 16" plow. 30hp tractor/22pto should be enough. Not very heavy but 4WD should make up for that.

Here is a thread started by a man, Farmwithjunk, who is very familiar with Massey plows.
Plowing New Ground

The lever you refer to may be the landing lever used to move the plow sideways and if it is you would use it to adjust your width of cut, not the bar.
