Saw a CL posting for Plow for Mule. For the life of me, I pictured an attachment for the 4 legged equine. Dang. Showing my mental age.

Kids today are building memories of their dads plowing with Kawasaki's!!!!
The expression "Plow For Mule" has taken on a somewhat newer meaning.

My uncle had a mule named Toby. He took that mule into spots you'd never be able to take a tractor. My neighbor also has a couple that he uses to pull his covered wagon in parades. There's still big money in well-trained mules.

They still do it that way Bird, here in Amish country!....... With horses and mules that is, have yet to see a moose pullin a plow however! Jim

Even here in Third World, South Carolina, the Ficks have progressed beyond plowing with mules. Not everyone has, though. There's a group, The S.C. Draft Horse Association, that has started using one of my neighbors' fields for their get-togethers.

Can you imagine the response...."I'm going to need a bridle and collar for a MOOSE!" Might have to let the hames out all the way as well!

You may be right, Bird. I have to hear the stories from my 73 yr old dad. We have continued the tradition of at least having them pull a wagon. I've never worked them to an implement.

Yeah, I remember my Dad borrowing a mule to plow up our garden. That mule worked him so hard the next year he hooked my brother and I up to his one wheel push garden plow and we pulled it.
