I wondered that too. We have a 2 furrow Dearborn (sp??) with one furrow flipped up which we are going to try out on our 1523. If all goes well, we will flip the other down, and see how it does with 2 furrows in the ground.
I will post pics when we plow.
Thanks,
Ferguson and Dearborn made a plow that had one bottom flipped up and the other one down. It was made to plow back and forth. One bottom rolled the furrow one way and when the bottoms were flipped it it rolled the furrow the same way going in the opposite direction. Is this the plow you have?
I have the GC2310TLB with Hydraulic plow. This thing works great...so far I have left the backhoe on for the weight, but when I get a box blade I will use that in the winter for back-dragging and for the weight. Plus the quick hitch needed for the plow will take other accessories. Definitely worth the money, I think with the quick hitch setup I paid $1200 for the plow, the 2340 60" blade.
