Had this for a few years and never used/needed it. Last month I finally got it figured out and replaced one of the hydraulic hoses.
Hooked it up today to get ready for the foot of snow forecasted to come tomorrow.

You will appreciate that you can drive forward. I had a 3-point blower and looking over my shoulder, driving in reverse, got REAL old. Fortunately, I now use a HD Rhino rear blade on my Kubota M6040.

That's a nice looking rig and should last many years...

Cheers,

Best thing I ever did was get a plow for my tractor. Sold the blower the next year. Each to his own.

Blowers are great, even on a open cab tractor. You just need to know how to make the wind blow in the right direction. :D I have a plow on each end but will get the blower out if we ever get 2-3 ft+ of heavy snow. I'm also wondering about having edge tamers for the bucket when we get that rare mega drifting storm.

I've plowed snow with a blade and a front end loader. The blade is faster than the loader but if I had a snow bucket I think the fel would be faster. I still like my snow blower the best. It's a lot faster than my fel and the snow is gone. I can blow it all into the trees if I want. I can't push it into the trees with the fel.

I agree 100%, if you live in the snow belt a blower is the way to go. No more snow banks and you move the snow one time. We're getting pounded tonight, 12"-18", I expect to be popular with the neighbors tomorrow. :)
