Kioti CK 30 gear
Hello All,

I've been thinking about changing the bucket on my CK 30 to a 4 in 1.

I have a few questions:

First, is the CK 30 big enough to handle the 4 in 1?

Second, how difficult is it to install the plumbing for the extra hydraulics?

Third, how would I install the additional hydraulics (I have a Kioti FEL on the tractor)?

Fourth, anything else I should know before I make the purchase?

Thanks in advacne for all your help and expertise.

Marc

You can get a lightweight 4n1 from WR Long or ATI that would be approprieate for a CK30. You'll probably need to add a skid steer adapter unless you have a relatively new CK30. My advice would be to look carefully at the weight of the 4n1. You only have a bit more than 1100lbs lift capacity with the standard bucket as is and you will loose more than a pound for every pound that 4n1 weighs over the standard bucket.

Rigging hydraulics can be done just as for a grapple. There are a lot of posts on TBN about hydraulics for grapples and the information is exactly the same for a 4n1. You can use either a rear remote (cheapest if you already have a remote), or you can install either a diverter valve or electrohydraulic valve. The latter two can be purchased as kits from WRLong and will set you back a grand or more.
