I have a bobcat 500 that I can no longer get a part for that connects to the pump. It is a straight pipe that has a y joint out of it and I was wondering if galvanized pipe or some other pipe would work. Thank You.

Don't use plumbing pipe. Its only rated for 300PSI (if that), not the 3000PSI (or more) that your bobcat runs at.
You want high pressure rated pipe or hose and a Y fitting.
