Hi guys, I just installed what I think is a Wagner WM3 front end loader on my 51 8n. It has the front mount hydraulic pump directly coupled to the crank shaft. I got to thinking about it the other day and was curious if anyone had ever heard of setting up the hydraulic system to run through the tractor to provide live hydraulics to the rear 3pt?

First, the original fluid spec for the loader is basically the same oil used in the crank case from what I can find.
Would the loader be able to utilize the heavier trans oil used in the tractor transmission instead?

IF using the trans oil would work, the biggest hurdle (in my head that I can think of) would be the added hydraulic fluid storage capacity needed, and if the trans. housing could hold enough without overflowing the seals or running dry with cylinders extended.

Any experience or knowledge about attempting to do this?
