Pneumonia in the herd

/ Pneumonia in the herd #11
Thanks, Ken!! At least I know there are others like me. This is the only part of farming that I'm having trouble with. We've owned our farm for over three years, and our farming enterprises are moving much faster than I expected them to!! That's a real good thing, but I'm having trouble with my "tender heart" as my buddy Cindi calls it.

I'm not a vegetarian, and I certainly know where meat comes from, but raising critters to be butchered....that's just hard for me. I'm shocked my wife suddenly claims to have no problem, but we'll see the first time we send critters to the slaughter. Maybe I'll be OK, and she'll break down. Then again...probably not. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
