I am always amazed at how stupid I can be. Well, not stupid, just how I can notice the finest detail on a movie screen, yet miss the obvious things.

I have an old 1990 F-150 I bought as a farm truck. Its been around the block, and the interior is kinda funky.

Well, On January 12 I began noticing a funk. A weird funk. Kindof a moldy funk.

It has grown constantly worse, I figured it was because it has been sitting in the rain and getting moldier and whatever... I mean it is an ugly old truck.

Well, yesterday I finally cleaned it. Wedged down behind the back seat was a package of chicken boobs I had bought at the store around the 4th or so...

Cold weather had kept them relatively fresh.... but I just amaze myself what I shrug and move on from these days...

I had a friend lose a bluegill in his trunk after ice fishing. He found it in the spring! :p

Did it happen to go down behind one the side panels that are behind the wheel wells -- don't ask how I know that that can happen? :p :D

My favorite was the guy SCUBA diving for octopus in Seattle. He ended up late for his date, who was waiting for him when he drove up. She got in silently, and he started to back down the drive when she strated screaming like a banshee.

An octopus leg had wrapped itself around hers. She later submitted the date to a "Worst date ever" contest, and won a trip to Mexico....

All the best,

Peter

Yea, I did the fish thing too.
My dad was trying to get rid of some old Perch he had in the freezer. He gave me plastic container with about 2lbs. of frozen Perch. And, I took it, even though I knew I would not eat it, because he would not take no for an answer.
I have a soft sided cooler in the back of my van that I use for such occasions.
It was the Fall and a fairly sunny day, so, I decided to put it in the cooler because I did not go straight home, (see where this is going).
Many months later, as the weather started to improve, I noticed a pungent odor developing in my vehicle. I could not at first determine where it was coming from. The fact that it was getting cold from time to time seemed to make the smell come and go. Then came Spring, and OKAY, WHAT THE **** IS THAT SMELL!!!!
I did finally get the smell out of the van, and cooler, but it took a lot of effort.

One March while driving to a customer site I reached behind the seat and grabbed my lunch bag. In it I found a two tuna fish sandwiches made with stale bread. I figured my wife and her sister were playing a joke so I ate it anyways. When I looked in the bag for dessert and found a rotten orange I realized I had found a lost lunch.
