polaris 400 sportsman weight

I was reading in my owners manual that said my polaris gross vehicle weight is 1200 lbs. down the list it has dry weight at 715lbs. Which weight do I go by as far as vehicle weight ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The vehicle itself is the dry weight. The gross is the max combination of vehicle, fluids, gear, and butt.
