polaris trailboss 325 Help

Hi: I have the chance on a great deal for a Polaris Trailboss 325. My only question is would this be big enough or powerful enough for using attachments around my land?

I have a Polaris 325 magnum. It is the same engine and mine is a beefy utility machine with 2 wheel drive. I think the Trail boss was a little more sporty and did not have low range. In low range I will run out of traction before power. I have used it to pull a hay rake and a harrow with success.

If the machine you are looking at does not have low range I would not recomend it for pulling anything. It will work fine for general riding.

For real work I would get at least 500cc and 4 wheel drive.

I started with a Trailboss 325 2x4, rode it six months and sold it because it was too light to do anything more than puttering around.

Bought a 325 Magnum 4x4, rode it for a year and sold it because it was too underpowered when trying to do utility work. Great chassis, cushy ride, but underpowered. Should have bought the 500 Magnum.

Bought a Kawasaki 650 Prairie 4x4 and was satisfied. It had the HP and stability to do the work I wanted plus aggressive trail riding. I lost it in a shop fire last February.

Bought a 660 Rhino and am still getting used to it. As in Tractors, ATVs are an evolutionary thing. And again, as in tractors, try to think big and deep into this. It will save you money by avoiding the need to trade up soon.
