I have a 30x32 pole barn that was built in the fall. I would like to eventually raise a few cows, and I am getting ready to put a concrete floor in. Any suggestions regarding drains? I thought about a trough running down the middle and out the doors on either end of the building, with a metal grate over top, but I am not sure how well that would hold up over time. Any suggestions would be apprecaited.
On a side note, I am going to run water & electric to it before I pour the concrete. If you have any tips in that area, please let me know.
