I finally got around to uploading pictures of the pole barn I built few years ago. The roof angle is more than I originally planned. My math was a little off. My wife calls it the "church." I still have few things to do on it, but never seem to find the time.

Looks good! I'm guessing with the roof being that steep you don't have to worry about snow or leaves building up.

That looks really good ,I like the way you set it up and as far as the roof goes no need to worry about to much snow and ice build up . Good Job!!

Yeah, it's nice never worrying about the snow.

You didn't build a steep roof, you built a loft area! Great fore thought on your part. Your pole barn is much nicer than mine. Yes, pole barn envy here.

Looks like a nice loft space for sure, just can't tell the floor joist size too well, have to keep floor load down lol..

Looks good...I bet working on those trusses solo was a bit of a challenge.

Very Nice!! It's good to see someone building a smaller barn rather than some of the colossal barns in some of the other threads. While I'd love to have a 3000 sq. ft. barn, my property size (a bit under 5 acres), my equipment storage needs, nor my budget allow for it. I've been thinking about knocking down a 12x8 storage shed that the previous owner of our property installed and put up something like yours instead. What are the dimensions on yours? Do you use the loft area at all?

Love the old CJ in the pics. What year is it? Is that a homebuilt hard top?
