Being 100% of Polish heritage I made my own bucket level indicator
Bill of Material
8" 1/4-20 threaded rod
3 1/4-20 nuts
2 1/4" lock washers
1 1" x 2" x 1/4" aluminum pointer
Tools Required
9/32" drill
13/64 drill
1/4-20 Tap and tap handle
7/16" wrench
Drill and tap 1/4-20 in flange of bucket
Drill 9/32" hole in pointer
attach threaded rod with nut and lock washer
Bend as necessary to clear hose fitting
Attach and adjust pointer with 2 1/4 nuts and lock washer



Total cost of materials $4.75
Total labor 45 minutes
Total Engineering (including trips to house & beer drinking) 12 hours
That's what 75 year old retired Polish machinists do when they are bored!
