Poly Pavement or soil binder experience anyone

I posted about mixing cement with soil and the subject of PolyPavement.com came up. Since this sounds like interesting stuff I started this post in hope other TBN visitors who have used this or other soil binders can add comments of their experience. Also others who did not know about the product may also find this post helpful.

I don't have any experiance with this but it sounds like the stuff that a friend of mine is going to use for his pond he's going to build this summer instead of expensive rubber liner, he wants me to till this stuff into the soil.

DirtHauler, do you friend a favor and ask him to make sure the product hs is going to use is NOT water soluable. PolyPavement cannot be used in the bottom of ditches, on ditch banks, etc because it is soluable when exposed to standing water. It is SUPPOSED to work well for driveways, paths, parking areas and even roadways IF they are drained properly.

I'm planning on using it this summer for some paths in the woods, but as of yet I have no experience with this or any of the dozen+ other brands on the market.

I'm with Bob S. on the "I'm going to use it later this summer."

I have talked to the dealer in L.A. about using it around a horse feeder and the impact a hoof might have on the material. He has assured me it will hold up very well. My only problem is predicting several days of dry weather for application, lately is been several days of wet weather.

I suspect I'll have some data by next spring for TBN members.

I'd also ask the Mfg for references of happy and unhappy customers. Why were the unhappy customers unhappy with the product? Improper instalation, suitability etc.. In otherwords don't do what they did.
