Pond Fish

I have a small pond, 1/4 acre. I recently limed it and have been fertilizing it.

There were some fish in it and I added some this spring. A few bass, bluegill, some channel catfish, and some minnows.

I have a bunch if these fish an wanted to know if anyone knew way these are. I think some kind of sunfish, but don't know more than that.

That blueish/darkish spot at the top rear of the gill could indicate bluegill. Or it could be a shadow. :laughing:

I didn't know all of these belong to the sunfish family:

That's what we used to call Bream (pronounced Brim).

It would be a big help if you would indicate what part of the world you are in.
Looks like a stump knocker to me (warmouth perch).

Looks like a baby bluegill to me as well or similar species. I have a bunch of these in my pond, they can get quite big, but at that size they're great bass food

Apparently you have some very naughty bluegills in your pond.
