I have a 5 acre pond that has an overflow pipe that is 12" with a catseye on the creek side so that when the creek goes up it keeps the pond from raising. The pond has many springs feeding it and the land around it has ground water about 3' down. I would like to raise the level of the pond around 4' or so because about 1/3 of it is no more than 2' deep. Do any of you know if I could extend the overflow pipe at a 90 degree angle up 4'? I really don't want to dig up the current pipe because it is about 10' underground and would cost too much to dig it up and lay a new pipe. Any ideas that won't cost me an arm and a leg will help, just a shame I can't use my new L3410 on this project!
