Hi,

I have a lot of brush to move and was wondering if anyone had any advice on using forks attached to a frond end loader? I seem to remember where someone suggested that you could use a ratchet strap and tighten it down around the load. Any ideas for a poor man's grappel?

I've done it with a rope/chain before. Run the forks under the pile, lift pile and slide under rope/chain with one end attached to bucket. Throw the other end over the pile and and tie off to bucket hook. It's not the most efficient program but it does work.

Since I don't have a grapple I usually just lay down a choker and stack the brush on it as I cut then drag the whole thing to the pile.

ive done something simular. Ive put down my chain, stacked brush on it, sinched it up with a slip hook and lifted the whole mess with the chain on the FEL bucket
