Well after cleaning out and stuffing a 10 yard dumpster full to the brim using my tractor, tomorrow I am going to us my tractor to raise my 40x10 deck back up and push back to the original position on my rental house. Placed there about 28 years ago and for some reason it has pulled away the house about 1.50 inches. I was going to cut the deck off and rebuild much shorter deck for cost saving, but I would have had to pour a walk underneath the deck to new steps. A friend talked me into just raising it up and back using my tractor. I am going to put in a few more posts and tie it to the corner of the house with a treated 2x10 at the right angle to insure this will not happen again. It lasted 28 years so I guess I will get another 10 + for less than 70 dollars of new marital. I will post a few more after shots. Plus I am going to side the house. What started all this is the siding which was 4x8 revise batten, I got many years out of it so now its time for some rehab and tractor fun.
