possible causes for 3ph lever creeping to dwn. pos. ??

While operating the tractor the 3ph lever has started to creep to the down position...it *seems* like it does it most often when using the FEL...
This 3ph has position control and it usually stays up when I set a position...
The 3ph holds in the up position fine when tractor is parked...

One other thing I've noticed is that the lever seems to be looser than it was...

Any ideas...?

Most 3 pt control levers have friction washers to keep lever where one puts it. Check for friction resistance.

Thanks for the quick reply...If it is just friction washers it should be an easy fix...much better than other scenarios that I was afraid of...thanks again...

ditto that. check to see if you have a friction washer and or tension spring.
