Has anyone ever used a Shaver HD8 Post Driver on CK25? Will this tractor handle it? I've got a lot of fencing to do.

Maybe it's just me, but I have no idea what a Shaver HD8 post driver is. If you're talking about a post hole digger, then it should work. I have used a post hole digger on my CK30hst with an 8 inch bit. I borrowed it and my friend told me I wouldn't need much throttle to make it drill a hole. I have mixed ground with some stones and then clay. It drilled fine at around 1500 rpm.

Just from looking at some of the pictures on their website, I see a tractor something similar in size to yours with one of these mounted on the back of it.

I have only used a similar designed post driver on the back of a larger tractor. The main problems I found is with the sides of the 'H' scraping uneven posts and holding small posts in position when driving into stony ground.

I would guess the hydraulics will run it without a problem but I am not sure how much vibration it would cause on a smaller tractor at each hit. The one I used bounces a MF 390 but I am not sure of the drop weight of the driver.

Any tractor with full Cat 1 or more and a Hyd remote will run a HD8. If your hyd delivery rate is low it will just take a little longer to raise the ram. Like 2 sec instead of 1-1/2sec -- it takes about 1/4Gal to raise to full height. You will need a good unrestricted line back to your reservoir so that the ram will drop well and hit hard. You should have no problem.

At least with the driver I have, my tractor (NH TC25D) gets more vibration when running the rotary mower. My driver sits on the ground when in use. Ditto to what SPYDERLK said, the gpm flow only determines how fast the ram goes up.
