I finally decided to use my new Rankin 12" post hole digger. I originally purchased it from my dealer in addition to several other implements about 1 1/2 years ago. While digging the first hole (just seeing how it works), the weld near the top-link connection of the auger broke. I called my dealer who has been remarkable in customer service since my original purchase of my tractors. I explained my circumstances and that I knew that the auger was outside of the warranty. Without having to ask or beg my dealer for anything he immediately said, "bring it in, I'll replace it, I dont worry about warrant stuff like". What a Breath of refreshing air! I thought I'd share this with everyone because I know there are other dealers out there who look at only their immediate gain /benefit and a quick buck instead of the long term financial benefit of a loyal customer. They are still out there folks! PS: The Rankin works just fine.
