Thanks for sharing. I never thought about the pin and spring being a problem. I keep the ends of my drive shafts off the ground to keep the splines clean. Lubing the pins needs to be added to my maintenance list.

When you finally do replace the yoke pin, paint it with Never-seize lube, and it'll not freeze up again.
