Well, this weekend i setup the horse paddocks, or started to.

I got all the Cedar posts in, Used a Post Pounder instead of a PHD, I was averaging one post every 5-6 minutes or so. It took 12 hours to put in 150 posts, each one 8' long and rage in diamiter from 5 to 10 ". I Just cant imagine using a PHD to do 150 of these things, id still be there digging, leveling and packing.

It took an added 4 hours to put in the Corner and Gate diagonal Braces.

Just the Electric fence wire to string up now and Gates to install.

Sounds like you has a busy weekend. How dry is your ground? Right now I can't pound in any posts, the ground is too dry and hard. I have to do it early spring or late fall. How far apart are you spacing your posts? Any action shots?

Ground isnt too hard yet, which is why i didnt want to get into July before i got it done, we have a lot of clay and in the areas where the grass has gone (due to the new construction of the house) I had some Bounce, where even a sharpened post bounced off the clay...solved that by a more of push on those posts for the first 6" followed by pounding.

I spaced the posts every 8'

No Photos, unfortunately my photographer (Wife) wasnt up at the farm till all the work was done....hmmmm.... so it was Just me and a local guy working at it.

we only hit one rock in the whole process which was pretty good.
