I'd like to post some photos of the equipment I use for my food plots, but, I haven't had any success in doing it. Are there simple steps I can take to get my photos on the site?
Thanks,
Barney

Hi Barney,

The simplest way is to use the "Manage Attachments" button. From new post, or advanced options when you reply, you'll see the button in the options below the text box. From there, you'll browse to your pictures on your computer and upload. It's pretty straightforward but if you continue to have problems reply back with some more specifics.

Hope this helps for you.

I use the FREE service from "photobucket" to host my pictures online. Then, I can select the pictures are have them be either a line link, a small thumbnail that is clicked for full size or full size pictures in the post. If you go with photobucket, you can get more help by asking. Other host services are similar.

Here's the same picture posted 3 different ways.

Looks like it worked.

Is that a 5' or a 5 1/2' disc? I am looking for one like that. Does your tractor pull it fine when set agressive?

John, was that a recent photo of the whitetail buck? I had heard that the WI deer population was mismanaged with the Wasting Disease.

Sincerely, Dirt

John, It's a 5 1/2' King Kutter and my tractor pulls it fine. In fact, I think I could have gone with a 6'. I have two small plots which have only a few rocks and the disc sinks to its axles and the tractor still handles it fine. My other three plots are pretty rocky and in those I wish I had some more weight on the disc. It is the heavier box frame model.

How does the tractor do with the plows they are as big as the tractor. Also why did you take the loader off with the plows. Seams if you get in to almost getting stuck you can use the loader to get out.

That was from 2006, not my land -- :( sadly :( but it was within 10 miles of my land!:)

Depending on who you talk to, the DNR has either mismanaged, totally fubar'ed it, or even worse. Then again, it's a complex issue -- so who really knows? I do know they spooked about 25% of the hunters out of the field the first year or two. Now they are spooking them with reports of deadly lead in the harvested deer. Seriously. We are losing hunters left and right and they try and scare more off. All the while they are increasing the deer herd every year. And bears! Yikes! I hunted last weekend and saw more bears than deer. And I don't mean the same bear multiple times, all different ones.
