I have a JD 4200 and recently was able to get the old Power beyond kit from the dealer who had one laying around in inventory. I would like to use it to access the hydraulics to mount a 2 spool valve. This kit is the old version which basically creates and extra loop in the the line running to the 3PTH. After the kit is installed there is a loop of hose on a QD coupler which keeps the 3PTH circut attached. This line is unhooked so a hydraulic attachment can be plugged in to the circut. When the line is unplugged and this disables the 3PTH as it is taken out of the circut.
My question is, if a 2 spool valve is added with the power beyond lines attached to the valve will the 3PTH work or would it be better to plug the hose to the 3PTH into the power beyond port on the 2 spool valve so the 3PTH will work while using the remotes to run a grapple or top and tilt. Never done a hydraulic project but after reading hours of posts this seems to be the best way to plumb this set up. I am planning on using 2 spool valve 9-7862 from Surplus Center. Any help would be greatly appreciated especially from someone who has a 4200 and has already done this.
Thanks
