Who can help me with some questions about rear hydraulics on a 3039R? This will likely require pictures and really small words so that even I can understand.

So here's my history on the subject... My old tractor - a 770 had power beyond added to run the feed for a chipper. I got the dealer to toss the labor in way back when I bought the chipper, and I never tried to bother looking at how it was plumbed in. It seems to be just an extension of the tractor's hydraulics that loops back into itself when not being used for any other purpose. I've also used it to power a wood splitter that I built about a decade ago. I have a backhoe on the tractor but that runs on a PTO pump. The 3PH works when the power beyond is in use.

I just picked up a lightly used 3039R, and I mentioned that I would likely be adding a backhoe to it once I sold my 770 and mentioned putting the power beyond kit now because I had the chipper and splitter that would need it. They told me that using the power beyond would disable the 3PH, which is no good since I need the 3PH lift for both the chipper and splitter. It's irrelevant if and when I get the backhoe, but I do need it for the other stuff. I found the post I have linked below, and it makes mention of all of this too, but in that post there is talk about an extra return port for use with the backhoe. does that mean that I can use the power beyond without disabling the 3PH - by using only the connectors on what I would call the line that loops back into itself?

The tractor also has the 3rd valve on the rear, with lines plumbing it to the front of the loader frame, controlled by the thumb switch on the loader stick.

Yes. Dealers do not know how to "think outside of the box".
